In the wake of the Pacific Palisades Fire on January 7, 2025—when thousands of families across Los Angeles were suddenly forced to flee—Acts of Mercy International has mobilized to respond. Our teams are on the ground meeting urgent physical needs, caring for those impacted, and bringing the hope of the Gospel in the midst of devastation. As the fires continue to affect these communities, our commitment extends beyond immediate relief, standing with families as they begin the long road toward recovery.

Israel & Gaza
As conflict continues across Israel and Gaza, Acts of Mercy International is working through trusted local partners to reach those most affected. Together, we are helping provide critical aid, support displaced families, and care for both physical and emotional needs in the midst of complex and challenging conditions. In every response, we remain anchored in bringing the hope of the Gospel and strengthening the local Church for lasting impact in the region.

Myanmar
When Cyclone Mocha struck in May 2023, bringing widespread devastation to Myanmar and Bangladesh, Acts of Mercy International stepped in alongside local partners to respond. Our teams helped provide critical relief, offer training, and support communities as they began to rebuild. What started as emergency response has continued through efforts to strengthen resilience, walking with these communities toward lasting restoration and renewed hope.

Amid the crisis along the Thailand–Myanmar border, Acts of Mercy International is responding to the growing reality of scam trafficking and forced criminality. Working with trusted partners, we are helping identify and repatriate victims, providing immediate care and meeting urgent needs as they begin the process of recovery. Our commitment goes beyond rescue—walking with survivors toward restoration, dignity, and the hope of the Gospel.

Ukraine & Poland
With a vision to see people commissioned and churches planted, Acts of Mercy International is actively serving both in Ukraine and among displaced Ukrainians in Poland. Since the war escalated in February 2022, we have responded on the frontlines with teams delivering critical aid and sharing the hope of the Gospel. What began as crisis response has grown into a long-term mission—building relationships, making disciples, and catalyzing a multiplying house church movement among Ukrainians both within their nation and in displacement.

As tensions continue to rise in Iran and across the Middle East, Acts of Mercy As tensions continue to rise in Iran and across the Middle East, Acts of Mercy International has been actively preparing to respond through trusted partnerships in the region. Over recent months, Executive Director Kevin Johnson has been building relationships with like-minded leaders and organizations to help create pathways for both immediate relief and long-term impact—bringing practical support, strengthening the local Church, and carrying the hope of the Gospel.
