The magic show was conducted on Saturday, 24th Feb 2001 at 6:30pm for the inmates of the Cancer Ward of the Children's Hospital Egmore. The man with the magic wand was Mr. Rasiklal Vasani who has performed about 1000 shows both in India and East Africa. He has many achievements up his sleeves. He was one among the seven to receive honours at the SAARC Magic Meet by the Haryana State Government. He is also one of the few magicians to have performed at the Tihar Jail for the inmates!

30 kids, who are in various stages of treatment for cancer, watched the show with great entusiasm. These are kids who are in various stages of treatment for cancer. This was a big entertainment event for not only these kids but also for their parents who accompanied these kids.

After the magic show the magician spend some creative time during tea session with kids and taught them some easy tricks. Then he chatted with them over tea.
